Hillary Clinton makes private visit to Hiroshima memorial museum
A former Hiroshima governor who guided Clinton said she spent more than 50 minutes touring the museum.

Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton toured the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum during a private visit arranged at an acquaintance’s invitation. Media were not allowed to attend.
The museum displays objects from the U.S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945. Hidehiko Yuzaki, a former Hiroshima Prefecture governor who guided Clinton, said her tour lasted more than 50 minutes.
Yuzaki said Clinton wanted as many people as possible to see the museum. The acquaintance accompanying her also said Clinton described its stories and exhibits as a challenge to prevent nuclear weapons from spreading or being used again.
