Entourage closes second fund at €100 million
The venture firm plans to back about 25 early-stage companies, expanding its investment scope to robotics, physical AI and deep tech.

Entourage has raised €100 million for its second venture fund after exceeding a €75 million fundraising target within two weeks. The firm, founded by Showpad co-founder Pieterjan Bouten, received commitments above €100 million but limited the fund to that amount.
The firm said Fund II would invest in about 25 businesses across Europe and other regions, targeting the pre-seed and seed stages. Initial investments will be between €1 million and €5 million, with capital reserved for subsequent funding rounds, Tech.eu reported.
While Entourage’s first fund concentrated largely on software, the second will also target robotics, deep tech and physical AI, alongside AI and enterprise software. Entrepreneurs, private investors and family offices supplied all the capital, according to EU-Startups. Backers include founders of TechWolf, Aikido and Collibra.
Entourage generally leads or co-leads investments but seldom takes board seats. Bouten described that approach as deliberate, saying investors can hinder founders through misplaced advice. He said he had invested in more than 60 companies.
The firm has also added investors Erwan Gardelle, Sixtine Riescher and Illja Schiller, opened an office in London and established a presence in Paris. Its partners are Bouten, Evert Beeckman and Maarten Mortier. Entourage also develops businesses through Entourage Studio, which produced AI process automation company Tekst.
