It is a musical project that chronicles a journey of rebirth through universal themes such as love, hope, the joy of living, and the ability to look toward the future with renewed awareness. This marks a new artistic and personal phase in which Angelique chooses to express herself authentically, setting her emotions, experiences, and feelings to music and personally penning many of the album's lyrics.

Released by Sonos Music Records and distributed by Virgin Music Group, "A New Life" is also distinguished by a significant array of artistic collaborations. Duets feature artists such as Ronnie Jones, Charlie Cannon (The Four Kents), Luca Bright, Bobby Solo, and Wannys-King, resulting in a project rich in cross-genre influences, diverse sounds, and an international flair. The album's artistic direction was overseen by Giancarlo Nisi, Fabio Lisi, Roberto Cetoli, and Pier Brigo, with contributions from musicians belonging to Maestro Angelo Branduardi's orchestra, as well as Mattia Avello and Stefan Benzatek. Songwriters include Angelique (Angelica Loredana Anton), Ricky Palazzolo, Franco Califano, Frank Del Giudice, Albert Douglas Meakin, Wannys-King, Alberto Zeppieri, and Giancarlo Nisi.
